Overview

MCMC promotes institutional collaborations to build competencies or knowledge within specified gap areas. Collaborations have been implemented with selected organizations, as further described below:

A joint communique between GSM Association (GSMA), the Multimedia University (MMU) and MCMC was signed on 25 June 2015 on the cooperation in the development of content for and in the establishment of Masters course in Converged Telecommunications Policy and Regulation (MCTPR).

MCMC is collaborating with GSMA and Multimedia University to offer a Converged Telecommunications Policy and Regulatory (CTPR) Masterclass offered on an annual basis. The CTPR Master Class is designed to offer mid to senior level executives in national regulatory agencies, relevant government ministries, telecommunication service providers, broadcasters, equipment manufacturers/vendors in the ASEAN countries and Asia Pacific Region a holistic and up-to-date world view on all matters related to the converged telecommunications space.

MCMC has also entered into a collaboration with the Malaysian American Commission on Educational Exchange and MCMC to provide for education assistance under the Fulbright-MCMC Grant. The Fulbright-MCMC Grant is a specialised programme under the auspices of the prestigious Fulbright programme. The Fulbright-MCMC Grant aims to build expertise within key areas in communications and multimedia.
